90/91 Score Young Superstars # 12

# 12 Dave Chyzowski

Young--19 years old

Superstar--an exceptional talent, widely recognized and eagerly sought after for their services

Regular season
GP 126    G 15    A  16    Pts 31   PIM 144

Playoffs
    GP 2    G  0   A  0        Pts. 0      PIM  0

Chosen 2nd overall in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by the Islanders. Drafted behind only Mats Sundin but ahead of Bill Guerin, Stu Barnes and Bobby Holik in the first round. As attested to by his stats, he was no superstar. In fact, after the 94/95 season, the Islanders hockey writers were labelling him one of the biggest busts in team history. Not much else to say here. Young, no superstar.

And I'll leave you with this
